Kate Collins
Kate is Chief Executive of Teenage Cancer Trust where she leads the organisation to ensure that young people with cancer in the UK are able to survive and thrive in the face of their cancer diagnosis and treatment. Kate has worked in the charity sector since 1998 - across a range of organisations including BBC Children in Need, Cancer Research UK and Penny Brohn Cancer Care. Having joined Teenage Cancer Trust in 2009 to lead their rapidly growing fundraising and then having been with the charity ever since Kate has extensive experience in leading change in rapidly changing social purpose organisations. Teenage Cancer Trust has led the way in the creation of world-class cancer services for young people, providing life-changing care and support. Under Kate’s leadership the charity is striving to reach all young people with cancer in the UK and is committed to ensuring that young people and their needs remain at the heart of everything the charity does.
